St. Joseph's Day Dinner

03/20/2010

St. Joseph's Day Dinner Coming Soon!
This traditional Lenten Italian dinner will be celebrated on Sat., March 20, 6:30 PM, at St. Augustine's parish hall.

Sample many delicious homemade Italian dishes, breads, and desserts. Parishioners from both parishes, families and friends are welcome to
attend.

In keeping with the tradition of this feast day, there are no meat dishes served. Therefore we ask that you bring a meatless
dish to pass.

Donations of $3 per person and $6 per family will be greatly appreciated to help off set the cost of ingredients. All
proceeds will be donated to the Baldwinsville food pantry.

This is a fun, social event that you won't want to miss! Any questions? Call Cathy Garvey at 635-9534.

Easter Cantata

03/28/2010

Easter Cantata
This year, the combined choirs of St. Augustine's and St. Mary's will held a special Easter Cantata (choral work), titled "Once Upon A Tree" by Pepper Choplin. The Cantata will be performed at St. Mary's on Friday, March 26th at 7:00pm, and also on Sunday, March 28th at 3:00pm at St. Augustine's. If you are interested in singing for the Cantata, please see our Director of Music, Ryan Schaffer.

Cantata Rehearsal Updates:
Our Cantata Ensemble "Once Upon A Tree" will rehearse on Sunday, February 21, at 3:00pm in the church. This is a rehearsal for Vocalists only. We are still looking for some orchestral instrumentalists to play. In particular, we are looking for violinists/violists  at the high school level or beyond. Reading music is a necessity. Music for all instrumental players is available now. Please see our Director of Music, Ryan Schaffer, for more information and to retrieve the music.
