Pastoral Council Nominations Are Now Taking Place!

 

The Pastoral Council is an advisory board to the pastoral leadership team and plans for the future of the parish while staying true to the parish Mission.  

 

This year there are 2 vacancies on the Council, one from the Covenant Ministry of Parish Life and one At-Large:

Men and women who would like to serve on the Pastoral Council should be:

• Active in their faith.

• Committed to the mission of Jesus, the parish and the church.

• Willing to make a commitment of time and talent.

• Open to listening to a diversity of opinions.

• Willing to work as a team member.

• Willing to attend as many parish functions as possible.​                       

 

The council requires that nominees must be:

• Registered members of the parish and at least 18 years old.

• Fully initiated, practicing Catholics.

• Participants in parish life and worship, especially Mass and the sacraments.

• Committed to the direction of the parish as it is stated in the mission statement.

• Willing to attend all Pastoral Council meetings, activities and serve on various task committees.

• A serving member in the area of Covenant Ministry to which they are being nominated.

DEADLINE FOR NOMINATIONS: Sunday, June 1, 2025
Forms may be placed in the collection basket or brought to/mailed to the
Pastoral Council Nominating Committee, St. Augustine’s Parish, 7333 O’Brien Rd., Baldwinsville, NY, 13027. Complete information may also be emailed to <email@staugustinesparish.org>.
