We Have Two Exciting Renovation Projects Ongoing at St. Augustine’s!
We have been recently blessed to have Fr. Joe, Fr. Ben, and Deacon Joe Ryan elect to use our Rectory for their home base. We have renovation ongoing to update the flooring, install new appliances (refrigerator, washer, and dryer), paint rooms, and eventually rework the deck to make their time with us welcoming at the Rectory.
We also have a plan and the materials ordered to update the two bathrooms in the church proper (update the fixtures that date back to the 80’s or earlier, paint and accessories).
The cost for these projects will run
between $50,000 and $60,000.
Two parishioners have graciously offered a matching gift challenge! They will match the first $15,000 of donations made toward these projects by August 28 - the Feast Day of Saint Augustine!
We are looking for parishioners who would consider a partial matching gift to help with these projects to keep our St. Augustine’s Campus functional and up to date. Please contact Fr. Joe, Deb Krisher, or Chris Raddell if you have an interest or specific bequest. Donations can be mailed or dropped off at the office. You can also drop an envelope into the offering’s basket marked “Renovation.”
Donations of any size are greatly appreciated. Take up the challenge laid down by fellow parishioners and remember - your gift will be matched if it is received by August 28th!
