Covenants
Putting Our Mission Into Action

St. Augustine's is a vibrant parish where its members are active in the many ministries that put our mission into action!

Each year, parishioners sign a covenant in which they commit to serving in one or more ministries for one year.

We invite you to sign up for a ministry or two that interests you - maybe something new and different this year, or perhaps in the same ministry you served during the past year! (Please remember that since renewal is not automatic, we kindly ask that parishioners complete a new covenant form each year.)

Covenant Weekend
To present information about each of the ministries we hold a ministry fair once each year in the Parish Hall after weekend Masses that we call "Covenant Weekend."
During Covenant Weekend, ministry leaders are available to provide information and answer any questions. Ministry booklets, which include a brief write-up about each ministry, as well as adult and youth covenants, are available at the ministry fair, as well as at church entrances and online.

Baptism
Bringing Spiritual Strength During an Illness
Baptism is a fundamental sacrament of initiation into Christian faith community and the Catholic way of life.

St. Augustine’s Church is honored and filled with joy that you desire to have your child baptized.

First Reconciliation
Receiving Forgiveness for Our Sins
Those who approach the sacrament of Penance obtain pardon from God’s mercy for the offense committed against him, and are, at the same time, reconciled with the Church…” (Taken from Catechism of the Catholic Church, Second Edition, 1421-1422)

First Eucharist
Receiving the True Body and Blood of Jesus Christ
Preparation for First Eucharist begins after a child has been previously involved in the liturgical life of the parish faith community by regular attendance at Sunday Eucharist with his/her parent(s). The child is expected to have participated in parish or Catholic School faith formation classes for at least one year before he/she begins the direct preparation phase for the Sacrament of First Eucharist.

Confirmation
Deepening Our Baptismal Life
At St. Augustine’s, high school students who are involved in parish or Catholic School Faith Formation programs are invited to enter the Confirmation direct preparation process during the second semester of their sophomore year at the earliest.

Matrimony
A Union Under God
Congratulations! We are so happy that you are considering St. Augustine's Parish for your very special day.
Our marriage prep team looks forward to sharing this exciting journey of preparation with you.

Anointing of the Sick
Bringing Spiritual Strength During an Illness

While no one can take away the pain of losing a loved one, our parish community is here to support you and yours through this difficult time. We are blessed to have a loving and supportive funeral ministry team who can help make this time just a little easier for those who are experiencing grief and loss.
