Eyeglasses & Hearing Aid Collection
Sharing the Love of Christ With Those In Need
Social Action Ministry is sponsoring a used eyeglasses and hearing aid collection. There is no need to buy anything; just take a few moments and dig deep inside your miscellaneous drawers and consider donating any used or unwanted eyeglasses or hearing aids.

How to Donate
The spring 2026 collection runs through April 12, 2026.

Please bring any used eyeglasses and hearing aids for donation and place them in the collection basket inside the church vestibule. Any used hearing aids should be placed in an envelope. If a donation receipt is requested, simply put your name, phone number, and address information on a piece of paper and include it with the hearing aid.

Donated glasses are cleaned and calibrated by Walmart, who then provides the glasses to medical missions who serve underprivileged countries where the glasses are distributed.

They will take cheaters/peepers (drugstore glasses)

They will take prescription and nonprescription sunglasses

They DO NOT take loose lenses or glasses in bad condition (missing a stem, bent nose piece, etc.)

They DO NOT take eyeglass cases
All hearing aids, including unused batteries, will be turned over to the Finger Lakes Regional Lions Hearing Foundation. The hearing aids are cleaned, reconditioned, and distributed to those with financial hardships in the Central New York area.

Note: If you are in need of a hearing aid, but funds are limited, contact the Parish Office, and Social Action Ministry can help to arrange assistance in order to secure a hearing aid.
