School Supply Collection

Social Action Ministry volunteers coordinate parish contributions of school supplies for PEACE, Inc., which then go to Baldwinsville school children.

St. Augustine’s Social Action Ministry held a school supply collection during the month of August 2025 to provide school supplies for students in need in the Baldwinsville School District. St. Augustine’s partnered with Peace, Inc., who serves up to 65 local resident families. The parish was very generous, providing a total of 721 needed school supply items.. The Director of Peace, Inc. was  very appreciative of the donations provided. Each family will be able to select the items needed for their children. Thank you so much for supporting this effort as it really helps get the students excited and prepared to have a great school year!

St. Augustine’s Social Action Ministry is having its annual School Supply Collection   for   students   in   need   in  the  Baldwinsville  School  District. 

St. Augustine’s is partnering with Peace, Inc. who services up to 65 local resident families.  While the school district provides basic supplies, Peace, Inc. hopes to supplement basic supplies with our donations. The collection starts this weekend and runs through August 10, 2025.  A cart is in the vestibule for your donations.  The Social Action Ministry appreciates your support in this important effort. 

Peace, Inc. welcomes your donations from the list of 'Most Needed' items below, or you may feel free to donate other school supply items not listed.
 


Most Needed Items
 

  • Dry erase markers (significant need)

  • Soft zippered pencil bags 

  • Black Sharpie Markers, Markers (thin and broad)

  • Pens (black and blue)

  • Pencils (Ticonderoga brand only) 

  • Scissors (for 4thgrade and above)

  • Post-it notes

  • Plastic folders: Yellow (significant need), blue, red, green, purple, black

  • Headphones to use for Chromebooks

  • Ziploc bags (gallon and quart-size)

  • Boxes of tissues

  • Clorox wipes

  • Playdough

  • Binder Dividers
